Queensland Urban Utilities is partnering with Advance Queensland and Fire Station 101 to provide mentoring, data, technology, and $30,000 to develop up to three ideas to transform the utilities of the future.
On 20 October, bring your ideas and skills to combine design, business acumen, and technologies in programming, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and Internet of Things. You will be given real-world, practical opportunities for an immediate customer and unique access to the largest water utility infrastructure in Queensland.
Bring your ideas
Is there an app that could better inform customers? Are there new ways to visualise regional water systems? What tools can we put in the hands of businesses and home residents? Is there new technology, platforms, or applications we can introduce that would make it easier for customers? How can our water systems help make people in our cities more livable, connected, and enabled?
Following the hackathon, up to three projects will take a share a $30,000 plus mentoring and support to bring their ideas to market.
Join us for the weekend to meet amazing people, create new relationships and networks, challenge yourself in a team environment, and eat great food. You may even be able to fast-track your idea for commercial success!
