The Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Fund, supports startups and small to medium Queensland businesses to commercialise market ready innovative ideas that will help them grow and compete in a global market and create new jobs.

Brenda is a specialist in responding to government tenders, proposals and grants and helping businesses access the money they either weren’t aware of or thought was outside their reach. Brenda has extensive experience in writing and evaluating tender responses submitted to government and grant applications. SIMON WU – Senior Consultant, Tax, Research and Development
Simon is a Senior Consultant in the Research and Development (R&D) and Government Incentives practice area of BDO’s Indirect Tax team. Leveraging a strong legal background, Simon has been involved in the preparation of numerous R&D Tax Concession and Tax Incentive claims, and the defence of R&D registrations at audit. Simon has been extensively involved in the preparation of various State and Federal Grant programs, including the Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Program, Accelerating Commercialisation and the Clean Technology Invest Program
